Home and visit checks

Items appear from how you let the home, where it is and what you've recorded — for example, gas safety once the boiler or gas supply is added.

Certificates that remind you

Add the gas safety record, EICR or EPC with its date. Where the law sets how often, Home+ works out when the next one is due, and reminds you before it runs out — in the app and by email.

Checks you can show

Check-in, interim and check-out checks for tenancies, and a turnover check between guests. Anything you find can become a repair.

Repairs, trades and costs

From reported to done, with who did the work and the invoice kept alongside. See what each home costs to run.

Every home, one account

One let or many — Home+ takes any number of homes. Switch between them whenever you need to. Your saved trades are there for all of them.

Packs

Download a Maintenance & Service Pack, a records pack, or a pack for when you sell.

What Home+ doesn't do

Home+ looks after the property. It doesn't manage tenants, guests, bookings or rent, hold deposits or run tenant checks, and it doesn't certify that a home meets the law — check the official guidance or ask a qualified professional.

Home+ is for homes you own and look after yourself, however many you have. Tarlara Estate is for letting agents, companies and organisations, or when a team needs access.

Questions

Home+ for lets FAQs

Does Home+ tell me what the law requires for my let?
It shows what may apply, from how you let the home and where it is. It doesn't certify compliance — use it as your checklist and check anything you're unsure about.
Does it cover Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland?
Yes. Home+ uses each nation's rules, such as Rent Smart Wales, Scottish short-term let licensing and the Northern Ireland landlord register.
How many lets can I add?
Any number, on one Home+ plan.
Can my letting agent or co-owner use it?
Not yet. Home+ is one person's account. If a team or an agent needs access, Tarlara Estate is built for that.
Does it handle deposits, tenancies or bookings?
No. Home+ looks after the property itself.
Is it for HMOs?
For a shared or student let, Home+ shows whether an HMO licence may be needed where you are. If you let through a company or need a team to manage them, Tarlara Estate is built for that.
