Tarlara Rural

Know your land. See the possibilities. Build towards your ambitions.

You've got the land. What could you do with it? What soil do you have? What could you grow? What animals fit? Could you go organic? Could funding help? Tarlara helps you work it out.

Who it's for

People who actually work the holding

Smallholders

A few acres, some animals, a polytunnel and a long list — all in one record.

Family farms

Fields, soil, water, livestock, machinery and seasonal work coordinated across the year.

Diversifying holdings

Buildings, land and resources assessed for what they could support, with projects and funding attached.

Self-sufficiency households

Growing, storing, preserving and maintaining, with the record keeping track of the cycle.

Location changes everything

A field isn't simply 'Field 3'

Its location relates it to soil, water, climate, crops, environmental context, the obligations that apply and the opportunities open to it. Tell Tarlara where you are, and the rest becomes more relevant.

Inside the product

What it looks like in use

Three views of the holding: the daily overview, the land itself, and the field detail that makes Rural a rural product rather than a property one.

Sustainability

Practical improvement, not carbon paperwork

Improve the soil

Soil records sit with the fields they belong to, so improvement is tracked where it happens.

Manage the water

Sources, storage, use and quality records connect to the land, animals and buildings that depend on them.

Use resources sensibly

Energy, inputs, buildings and equipment held together, so waste is visible.

Build resilience

Seasonal planning means the holding is worked through the year rather than reacted to.

Turn intent into projects

An improvement becomes a project with work, costs and a record of what happened.

Keep the evidence

Progress is provable, because the proof stays attached to the record.

Funding

There may be money available for what you want to do.

Tarlara helps you identify funding opportunities relevant to your holding, its location, your planned projects, sustainability improvements, organic ambitions and diversification plans — recorded against the things they relate to.

Diversification

What else could your holding become?

The difference is that Tarlara already knows something about your holding — its land, buildings, resources and location — so the options you explore relate to what you actually have.

Go Organic

Thinking about going organic?

Understand what's involved

See what organic conversion means in practice for a holding like yours.

See what may apply

Requirements are considered against your activities, land and livestock.

Organise the records

Inputs, land use, animals and work are already recorded where they need to be.

Turn requirements into actions

What needs doing becomes work in the calendar, not a note in a folder.

Keep the evidence

Documents and photos stay attached to the record they prove.

Track progress

Conversion is a journey; Tarlara keeps the trail of it.

Tarlara assists with the process. It does not certify organic status and cannot guarantee certification or eligibility — that rests with your certification body.

AI

Tarlara knows the holding. AI helps you understand the possibilities.

Questions

Rural FAQs

What's the difference between Standard and Rural AI?
Standard is the complete operational product with no ongoing AI allowance. Rural AI is the same product plus the assistant and 500 AI credits a month, with higher holding, user and storage allowances.
Is there a trial?
Yes — a 14-day free trial, no card required.
Can I record more than one holding?
Standard covers one holding; Rural AI covers up to three.
Does it work away from the house?
Yes. Rural supports offline use and syncs when a connection returns, and assets can carry QR labels for scanning in the yard or field.
Do I have to fill everything in?
No. Record the essentials and the holding is already useful. Depth is there when you want it, not as a prerequisite.
Does it tell me which grants I'll get?
No. It records funding opportunities against your holding, land, buildings and projects so you can judge relevance. Eligibility is always determined by the scheme provider.
